Stevens is a senior corporate finance and investment professional with over 25 years of international experience across Europe, North America, and Latin America, with a strategic focus on middle-market transactions of both asset and platform investments. He has held senior roles at leading institutions including Atlantica Sustainable Infrastructure, Citibank, Santander, and GBS Finance, where he built deep expertise in M&A, capital structuring, and corporate development.
Over the past decade, Stevens has specialized in the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors, originating and executing proprietary investments across solar, wind, geothermal, hydroelectric, transmission, and district heating assets and platforms. He has cultivated a global network of institutional investors, infrastructure funds, strategic operators, and advisors, enabling differentiated access to deal flow and co-investment opportunities.
From 2015 to 2023, Stevens served as Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development at Atlantica, where he led a cross-regional investment team focused on energy transition assets. His mandate spanned origination, evaluation, and execution of equity-driven investments and strategic partnerships, bridging long-term planning with disciplined transaction execution. His leadership was instrumental in scaling the platform across multiple geographies and technologies.
Prior to Atlantica, Stevens held leadership positions in corporate finance and M&A at Citibank, Santander, and GBS Finance, advising on complex cross-border transactions and building trusted relationships with corporates, lenders, and government stakeholders. His core strength lies in identifying mid-market opportunities and mobilizing the capital and strategic partnerships required to unlock long-term value.
