George Karidas is an Associate at CleanBridge with experience in investment banking and structured finance across the renewable energy sector. He specializes in M&A and capital markets advisory across North America, supporting both sell-side and buy-side mandates, as well as project finance structuring and transaction execution for utility-scale solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) platforms.
Prior to joining CleanBridge, George was an Investments and Structured Finance Analyst at Matrix Renewables, where he worked on North American transactions across key power markets including ERCOT, CAISO, and MISO. His experience includes development-stage underwriting, acquisition valuation, and execution of complex financing structures, including construction debt, tax equity, NAV-based corporate facilities, and portfolio refinancings representing over $1 billion in aggregate capital. George began his career as an analyst at NextEra Energy.
George holds a Master of Science in Finance and Banking from Queen Mary University of London and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Durham University.
